As 2024 draws to a close, we take this opportunity to reflect on the past year and express our sincere gratitude for the continued support and collaboration from industry partners and players with a common vision of being a driving force in the global transition to sustainable energy.
2024 has been another eventful and positive year in terms of strengthening and developing both the company and the hydrogen society and markets. Many milestones have been achieved throughout the year for us in HYDS, together with our collaborating partners. We share some of the highlights:
H Y D S accelerates the position in the maritime, mobility and construction sectors with deliveries from the two existing production facilities.
H Y D S started this year production of green hydrogen at Kaupanes Hydrogen on Eigerøy (Eigersund) and production is well established with deliveries both in and out of Norway.
In November, H Y D S and collaborating partners were granted NOK 386 million from ENOVA to establish the HyFuel project (Florø) and scale up existing production facilities through the Kaupanes Expansion Project (Eigersund).
The H Y D S team has expanded considerably from last year, ensuring continued drive, expertise and development going forward.
H Y D S is significantly strengthening its sustainability and ESG focus, as a key driver of our business and development, which, together with safety and risk, is always at the top of our agenda.
It has truly been a pleasure to work with our valued partners across the value chain throughout the year. Together, we have made significant paces, and we look forward to continuing our shared commitment to the sustainable development of clean, pure and green hydrogen in the year ahead.
