The agreement is a very important milestone for HYDS’ commitment to locally produced green hydrogen in maritime transport, where liquid hydrogen has major advantages compared to compressed hydrogen.
“Solutions for scalable production of liquid green hydrogen in smaller volumes have not been commercially available in the market. The fully integrated solutions from GenH2 represent a game changer in this context. The solutions make it possible to produce liquid green hydrogen at competitive prices close to the users, without costly and complicated transport. Especially in ship bunkering, this will open up exciting new opportunities. HYDS has explored several solutions for liquefaction of hydrogen. GenH2 is focusing on serial production of the solutions/infrastructure needed to make hydrogen a truly zero-emission alternative.
